Yes, standing/stalls for me too. And same for Paolo. Fenland/Phil stalls too, I think.

Some Batnews...

Watch the video for Bat for Lashes' "All Your Gold" which is taken from the upcoming album "The Haunted Man", out October 15th on Parlophone Records.
http://youtu.be/EXK0Ejzin4c
I've grown to really love this song... probably more than the other 2 made avail before the album's release (Laura and Marilyn). The "chorus" is wonderfully understated, and the vibrato/tremolo effect is fabulicious. Love her outfits in the vid too.

Also...

Tomorrow, Wednesday 3rd of October, Bat for Lashes will be performing an exclusive Maida Vale session for BBC Radio 6 Music on the Lauren Lavern show.
The session will be streaming live from http://www.batforlashes.com/ and takes place between 12 - 1pm with live performances of songs from the soon to be released album "The Haunted Man" and interviews with Natasha.
In case you don't catch the stream, the performance will also be available on the BBC red button later tomorrow evening.
Oh, and to add to those GMBers going to the london gig on the 30th.. Keith - off of here - will be there too.
EDIT/UPDATE: Wildcorgi now hopes to go too.

This is on-line now here

The 6 music session today was really good, with mini-interviews from Lauren - between each song. When asked if there were any up-coming gigs Natasha was particularly excited about, she mentioned the London/Forum ones.

Re the Maida Vale performance... I recorded the radio broadcast and have uploaded it if anyone wants to grab the mp3. It's 25 mins/37MB and you might wanna right-click and save-target-as the link, which is here.

Why bother with the audio-only?

1) it's got lots of interesting in-between-song chit-chat with Lauren and the audience, which isn't included on the BBC-6-music iPlayer version (or the telly red-button ver)

2) it includes 'Glass' (also excluded from iPlayer & RedBut)

What's a bit of a pisser:

The radio broadcast ended after 4 songs (Glass, All your gold, Travelling woman, Laura) and missed off Marilyn, Tahiti & Daniel.

Is everyone going to the London gig?! I really wanted to go but sadly can't work from home on the Wednesday (and getting to back to Oxford post gig and then back into London for work the next day would mean I got about 2 hours sleep). Gutted! Even more so now I know you're all going to be in attendance!
